Topic: The panelists will address what is the current impact of trade flows through the airports and seaports in the Americas as well as predicting what the future may hold.

  • Have the seaports been effective and efficient in the handling of the increased volume of containers?
  • Are airports suffering a decrease, no change or an increase in airfreight volumes?
  • Are containers being processed expeditiously by customs or is the large volume of containers producing backlogs at seaports?
  • What are airports doing to offset any loss of freight shifting from air to ocean?
